Throwback | MoU Signing and Press Conference for the First-Aid Academy Initiative

CCI France Vietnam (CCIFV) was honored to support the URGO Foundation during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and the official press conference held at the Residence of the Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event brought together key stakeholders from the healthcare, education, humanitarian, and business sectors around a shared objective: strengthening first-aid awareness and training across Vietnam.

More than a formal signing ceremony, this initiative reflects over 30 years of Franco-Vietnamese cooperation in healthcare. Since the bilateral health agreement signed in 1993, nearly 3,000 Vietnamese doctors have been trained in France, contributing significantly to the development of Vietnam's healthcare system. Knowledge sharing, training, prevention, and innovation continue to be essential pillars of this longstanding partnership.

The First-Aid Academy is a concrete example of this cooperation in action. By bringing together companies, institutions, universities, and associations, the program aims to promote life-saving skills among healthcare students, professionals, and the wider public, helping strengthen emergency response capabilities throughout the country.

As a long-standing partner of the URGO Foundation, which CCIFV has been supporting since 2022 on various initiatives, the Chamber was pleased to contribute to the successful organization of this event through logistical coordination, communication support, visual production, photography, and on-site event management.

This project also reflects CCIFV's commitment to fostering meaningful collaborations between French and Vietnamese stakeholders and supporting initiatives that generate a positive and lasting impact for local communities.

CCIFV would like to warmly thank all partners involved in this inspiring initiative, as well as Mr. Etienne Ranaivoson, Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, for hosting the event and supporting this important milestone.
