HCMC | Throwback | Back-to-Business Seminar & Cocktail de Rentrée 2026
On 18 September 2026, CCI France Vietnam – CCIFV officially kicked off the new business season in Ho Chi Minh City with an afternoon dedicated to exchanges, networking and community building.
The day began with a Back-to-Business Seminar, bringing together more than 30 participants for three insightful sessions focused on the latest economic developments and the challenges facing businesses operating and developing in Vietnam. Rossana Luu (CCIFV), Anthony Schoenauer (Equance) and Christophe Cougnaud (Forvis Mazars, CCIFV Vice-President) shared their expertise and perspectives with participants.
The evening continued with the Cocktail de Rentrée, hosted at the Caravelle Saigon, bringing together more than 450 professionals from the French, Vietnamese and international business communities.
Three speeches opened the evening. Eric Gratton, CCIFV Vice-Chairman and representative of Artelia Vietnam, highlighted the Chamber’s role and commitment to supporting the business community. Etienne Ranaivoson, Consul General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, shared his perspective on the relationship between France and Vietnam and its importance for businesses and communities in both countries. Finally, Thomas Nguyen, newly appointed Director of Saigon Accueil, introduced the association and its mission in supporting the French community in Ho Chi Minh City.
Beyond the speeches, the Cocktail de Rentrée provided an opportunity to reconnect, build new relationships and strengthen professional connections after the summer break. The evening continued in a warm and convivial atmosphere, with performances by Thuc Doan, Stephan & Band and DJ Sinyoung. The traditional lucky draw, hosted by our MC Micka Chu, also kept the energy high throughout the evening.
The event reflected the CCIFV’s mission to bring business communities together, facilitate meaningful connections and create opportunities for collaboration between French, Vietnamese and international companies.
CCIFV would like to warmly thank all participants, speakers, members, partners and sponsors who contributed to the success of this new business season, as well as the 33 sponsors who supported the event.
