HCMC | Throwback | France-Vietnam Forward 2026

Throwback to France-Vietnam Forward 2026: an event dedicated to tech, innovation and the talents building tomorrow's Vietnam.

More than 600 participants, including diplomats, business leaders, start-up founders, investors, academics and young talents: on October 15, France-Vietnam Forward 2026 sent a clear message. In a world where technology moves fast, the real difference lies in the women and men who drive it.

Talent, Companies' Number One Challenge

This is where everything begins. For French and international companies operating in Vietnam, the question is no longer just about expertise: leading brands want to attract the best profiles, and competition now hinges on that ability to attract.

"Employers are not only looking for technical expertise, but for people who can adapt, learn and grow in multicultural environments," said Thibaut Giroux, President of CCIFV. Hence the Job & Education Fair, which allowed students, young graduates and professionals to meet directly with employers such as Havas, Ekino, Aden Vietnam and Accenture, and to discover internship and job offers as well as suitable training programs.

Vietnam at the Heart of the Vision

For CCIFV, innovation is inseparable from Vietnam's future, and therefore from its youth and its skills. This view is shared by Trân Trong Tuyên, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, who explained that the city is moving toward a growth model built on knowledge, innovation and the quality of its human resources.

Education, a Natural Ground for Cooperation

On this front, France and Vietnam are already working hand in hand. The French Ambassador, Didier Le Bret, highlighted the CFVG (Franco-Vietnamese Center for Management Training), which has trained more than 6,000 graduates in fifteen years, along with more than twenty years of two-way student and professional mobility. He also recalled the momentum generated by the recent visit to France of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Republic, Tô Lâm, notably to Université Paris-Saclay and the CEA, an ambition that is now taking shape in the links between companies, researchers and universities.

Technology at the Service of Five Sectors

On the innovation side, the French Tech Summit brought together experts and companies around five key sectors: transport, industry, construction, health and finance, with players such as FPT, Schneider Electric, Thales and Servier. The ZEBOX Challenge for Impact unveiled its winning start-up, while ecological transition and green entrepreneurs were placed at the heart of the cooperation.

CCIFV, a Platform for Building Connections

"Companies need far more than occasional meetings," emphasized Thibaut Giroux. This platform role is at the core of CCIFV's mission: to create links between companies, talents and business, and to turn these connections into concrete opportunities.

We thank our co-organizers, La French Tech Vietnam, the Embassy of France, the Consulate General of France in Ho Chi Minh City, Business France Asean Pacific and the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE), as well as all the partners, speakers and participants who made this day a success.

See you for what comes next: because if innovation is the future, it is talents, companies and institutions, working together, who will build it.
