Join CCIFV’s Workshop on "Sustainable Urban Development & Mobility"
The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV) is delighted to host a workshop on Sustainable Urban Development & Mobility during the Green Economy Forum 2025 — a flagship event dedicated to advancing Vietnam’s green transformation. On November 27, 2025, let’s reimagine urban growth by designing for people, purpose, and lasting impact.
As cities expand and evolve, the need for integrated and forward-thinking solutions has never been greater. This session explores how innovative projects in industrial design and multimodal transport can redefine urban spaces, foster resilience, and promote sustainable living.
We’ll highlight two transformative case studies: the Jakob Factory by G8A Architecture & Urban Planning and Rollimarchini Architekten, and the Ngoc Hoi Railway Station Complex by Arep South Asia. Though distinct in scale, both share a commitment to sustainability, efficient land use, and community integration.
The Jakob Factory, north of Ho Chi Minh City, demonstrates how green industrial architecture can thrive in tropical climates—combining vertical density with passive design to create a naturally ventilated, land-saving workspace.
The Ngoc Hoi Railway Station Complex exemplifies transit-oriented development (TOD), transforming a transport hub into a sustainable urban catalyst through multimodal connectivity, green infrastructure, and smart planning.
Together, these projects show that sustainability is not just a vision—it’s a practical, collaborative path toward cities that are inclusive, efficient, and future-ready.
Confirmed speakers include:
🔸 Benjamin Viale, General Director, AREP South Asia – presenting on Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) projects in the railway sector.
🔸Laurence Savy, Partner, G8A Architecture & Urban Planning – sharing a case study on green industrial design.
Moderated by:
🔸Christophe Cougnaud, Vice President CCIFV, Partner, Forvis Mazars in Vietnam.
We warmly invite you to join us and contribute to this dynamic exchange of ideas.
