Bellany presents its new 450 ml recyclable cardboard packaging to you

Bellany brand mainly markets its ice creams and sorbets in hotels, resorts and restaurants in the country.

Many 4 and 5 star resorts also sell Bellany products in 450 ml tins in the hotels' "Gourmet store". Some hotels have to comply with an ecological charter. The brand was selected to be sold there but sometimes refused because the plastic packaging was not in accordance with the eco-friendly guidelines.

This demand has increased with the entry of the ice creams in the network of gourmet shops in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi with a clientele also concerned by eco-responsibility.

Bellany's marketing department has since worked with its management and purchasing department to meet the demands of customers and consumers.

The research led to the identification of a local player who manufactures fully recyclable cardboard boxes and lids. The company did not want to import the boxes and add transportation to its action. Bellany's work is now focused on replacing the 125 ml plastic box by recyclable cardboard.

Bellany manufactures natural ice creams and sorbets, the sugar and fat content (only dairy) is lower compared to industrial products but the fruit content is much higher. The brand uses natural binders and structuring agents.

In February 2020 the brand launched Paletas by Bellany. A natural fruit stick with a very low sugar content and a much more reasonable calorie count than ice cream. Paletas are vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and only produced with Vietnamese fruits in 2 sizes (55 ml and 110 ml).
