HCMC | Breakfast Talk | The Hidden Cost of Miscommunication: Building Aligned Teams
CCIFV Office, Ho Chi Minh City
Thursday, 29 October 2026
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Language: English
Overview
Most communication problems don’t show up in meetings. They show up under pressure, when time is short and your message has to land the first time.
This hands-on Breakfast Talk will explore how communication changes when pressure hits, where misunderstandings come from, and how teams can build stronger alignment.
Participants will work in small teams through practical communication challenges, allowing them to experience their own communication habits and see how assumptions, unclear messages and a lack of alignment can affect team performance.
The session will conclude with a simple, repeatable framework for communicating clearly that participants can apply directly in their workplace.
What will you learn?
- Identify your own communication habits and their impact on others
- Recognise assumptions that can lead to misunderstandings
- Understand whether your message has actually been understood
- Build and confirm alignment within your team
- Apply practical communication techniques immediately at work
- Identify communication breakdowns within your own organisation
