[THROWBACK] Committees Summit 2022

On April 20, 2022, CCIFV was pleased to hold the first edition of the "Committees Summit", the promising new annual meeting of our Sectoral Committees. A moment of sharing bringing together around fifty professionals from different sectors: Agrofood, Construction, Human Resources, IT/Digital & Innovation, and Sustainable Development.

This event was intended to strengthen the synergies of the committees but also to allow the meeting of all the members involved or wishing to join these working groups.

Adam Koulaksezian, Executive Director, opened the summit with a general presentation of the committees and their importance for the influence of French expertise. The two co-chairmen of the construction committee: Benjamin Desplanque (Archetype) and Mathieu Baudoin (Artelia) were able to share their feedback, their motivations and interests in being part of a committee. Find their testimonies in the next Connect magazine of the CCIFV, article “Spotlight on the construction sector committee”.

This moment also allowed the professionals present to discuss future events for 2022, the governance of their committee, as well as the most relevant topics to be addressed for their field. At the end of this working session, rich in proposals, the members of each committee were able to tell us about the upcoming projects in their sector.

We would like to highlight the exceptional involvement of the participants, which has enabled us to identify synergies and to streamline our joint actions in 2022. CCIFV team is mobilized to support and develop its working groups with all the tools which she has.

After this meeting, a networking cocktail was held, the moment for some to exchange with other working groups they could not attend, meet up or simply meet new people.

The objectives of the sector committees are to:

  • To share best practices and advice with actors in your sector;
  • Develop your business relationships and create business opportunities;
  • Promote the industry approach of French expertise in Vietnam;
  • Identify lobbying issues in order to address them at the highest level.

In 2022, these working groups have an ambitious goal : to become the backbone of the Chamber in order to allow each of our members promising prospects for exchanges, whether in terms of relations or expertise, so that everyone can seize the business opportunities offered by Vietnam.

What could be better than a team spirit to support the development of French Expertise in the Vietnamese market? We really hope that this dynamic will benefit many of you.

Do not hesitate to join our committees if you are not already a part of it or to contact us if you wish to create a sector committee, the CCIFV is at your service!
