Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between CCIFV and VASEP

On the morning of August 24, 2022, at the Saigon Exhibition Convention Center SECC, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-Vietnam - CCIFV and the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers - VASEP held a Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony between the two parties.
 
On CCIFV's side, there was Mr. Adam Koulaksezian - Executive Director and Ms. Nguyen Dac Boi Quynh - Head of Vietnam - France Trade Promotion Department and other representatives of the Chamber.
 
On the VASEP side, there was the attendance of Mr. Trương Đình Hòe - General Secretary and Ms. To Thi Tuong Lan - Deputy General Secretary and other representatives.
 
The delegates first attended the opening ceremony of Vietfish - Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition.
 
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Adam Koulaksezian spoke about the potentials of commercial cooperation in the seafood industry between Vietnam and the EU, and in particular between France and Vietnam. In recent years, France has been one of the leading trade partners of Vietnam in the EU. Particularly in the field of export, France is currently the 4th largest export market of Vietnam in the EU (EU-27) and accounts for about 10% of the total export turnover of goods to the EU. With the rapid and in-depth development from businesses, the cooperation between CCIFV and VASEP will open up more export opportunities for Vietnam's seafood industry. CCIFV and VASEP believe that the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding will be the foundation and motivation for the two parties to cooperate closely, fostering opportunities to promote the best resources.
 
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between CCIFV and VASEP has taken place successfully, promising a well-developed cooperative relationship between the two Associations.
