K+ renews the broadcast rights of the Premier League, and confirms its premium positioning strategy

K+, the joint-venture between VTV and Canal+, announced on March 2nd that it has reached an agreement for the exclusive broadcast of the English Premier League in Vietnam for the next three seasons.

The move officially marks the 15th consecutive year that Vietnamese football fans have been able to watch the world's most popular football tournament.

K+ was given the exclusive rights to broadcast the entire tournament, with all 980 matches to be aired exclusively on their channels until the 2024/2025 season.

K+ will also broadcast the football league across the country via its various channels, including the satellite television K+ Premium, ITTV, streaming via over-the-top (OTT), cable television, mobile apps, tablets, computers and even Smart TV.

In addition to making audiences "immersed in football", K+ channels allow sports fans to enjoy what they like the most, including tennis, racing, golf and fighting.

Besides, with their premium channels: K+CINE, K+KIDS, K+LIFE, and more than 160 local and international channels, K+ is stepping up to provide the best Vietnamese, Asian and international movies and series.

With their K+ORIGINAL channel launched in 2021, they recently aired their first original series "Tiger Mom" illustrating clearly their new positioning as a key player in the production of Vietnamese premium series.
