CCIFV’s Sustainable Development Sector Committee
On Wednesday 13th January, CCIFV gathered members from the international business community in Ho-Chi-Minh and Hanoi to discuss sustainable initiatives.
As a result of a number of converging demands, we have identified a need for sustainability within the business community.
This is why we decided to develop this Committee to gather actors from different sectors around sustainable development topics in Vietnam. Social and environmental issues are deeply connected to businesses and companies can have a positive impact while developing their activities. In fact, having a clear purpose and leading a positive change will benefit your business.
The key word of this Sector Committee is: collaboration. We need to learn from each other’s success and build a network to encourage sustainability.
You are already actors of change, but together we are stronger and we can have a bigger impact.
The overall purpose of the Sustainable Development Sector Committee will be to support and advance sustainability in your business sectors. Through research, events, training, workshops and conferences this committee will address social and environmental issues.
We aim to provide a supportive network of peers and mentors to assist on your own path towards sustainability.
