Conference: "ASEAN Youth Conference 2020 (ayc2020) Delegates"

In 2020, ASEAN Youth Organization (AYO) in collaboration with National Economics University represented by its Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NEU CSIE), La Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie France Vietnam (CCIFV) and NEU Communist Youth organizes ASEAN Youth Conference (AYC) on “ASEAN Youths pro-activeness, resilience and bonding in Industry 4.0 and future challenges”. This conference will be the youth’s contribution to implementing the agenda for peace, stability, solidarity, unity, prosperity, and sustainability in ASEAN in accordance with Vietnam’s chairmanship of ASEAN, “Cohesive & Responsive”.

Objectives:
• Sharing and learning about ASEAN models with its three pillars, namely the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC).
• Selecting 200 Youth Delegates from 10 ASEAN Countries to collaborate in building a project proposal that addresses ASEAN pillars’ issue areas, implementation plans in their communities and widen their problem-solutions to ASEAN context
• Learning regional and international experience in sustainable development, circular economy, 4.0 industrial revolutions and its impact, developing innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, collaborate and partner across cultures through our Distinguished Guests.
• Drawing lessons from successes and failures, elaborating recommendations and suggestions for developing entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable development.
• A forum for discussion among key stakeholders of Government/ ASEAN Secretariat, private sectors, start-up and technology innovators, civil society, social enterprises, educational institutions and Media.
Conference Dates: 31/10/2020 to 01/11/2020
Conference Venue: National Economics University and online platform

Delegate requirements
1. Age 18-35 years old
2. Good in English (Written & oral)
3. Citizen of ASEAN Member States and ASEAN+6 Member (Australia, China, India, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea)
4. Have a strong interest in ASEAN related issues.
5. Able to communication with other youths from different countries with diversified backgrounds.
6. Able to attend the whole conference event from 31 October - 01 November 2020

Award
The conference will award 5 Best Answers with waiving Conference fees of $22 for respective delegates.
3 Best team projects will be financially rewarded of $1,000 USD each.
