In addition, the chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has authorised activities that bring together a lot of people such as festive activities, fairs, investment promotion conferences, etc. However, measures to prevent and control the epidemic such as wearing masks, hand washing, health declaration, body temperature control, etc. must be ensured. It is also necessary to keep a distance in gatherings of large numbers of people.

Currently, the epidemic situation in Ho Chi Minh City is stable. Although the city has not reported any new cases of COVID-19 in the last few days, the authorities and the population of the southern megalopolis continue to apply preventive measures.
