Business Talk in HCMC on 4 November: HSBC, DHL, Marou and others share how they train and reskill their teams in Vietnam.

Overview

Vietnam is navigating rapid technological change, AI adoption and increasing international competition. In this context, workforce development has become essential to business competitiveness and long-term growth. Yet according to the World Bank Enterprise Survey 2023, only around 16% of Vietnamese firms provide formal employee training.

On 4 November 2026, EuroCham Vietnam, its Human Resources & Training Sector Committee and AmCham Vietnam, in collaboration with CFVG, are hosting the Business Talk “Workforce Transformation Vietnam 2026: Best Company Practices for a Future-Ready Workforce.” Business leaders from several industries will share practical experiences and lessons in workforce transformation.

CCI France Vietnam is not an organiser of this event: it is relaying the information to its members.

Highlights

  • Upskilling and reskilling: how companies develop their employees’ skills, the benefits for businesses, and the challenges they face in investing in their workforce
  • Insights from several industries (banking, logistics, food, textile, digital services) and international perspectives
  • Ideas for training and development policies to help Vietnam build a skilled, adaptable and future-ready workforce
