René CORDIER is an IT expert with 13 years of experience. He is currently Technical Lead – Backend & Delivery at LINAGORA, working at the crossroads of open-source software, email infrastructure, and open standards.

For the past seven years, he has contributed to Apache James and TMail as a Backend Lead, combining hands-on engineering with the responsibility of guiding technical delivery. As a committer on Apache James, René is also engaged in the open-source community and actively follows the evolution of JMAP within the IETF. 

His experience brings a practical perspective on digital sovereignty through open standards, open-source infrastructure, and real-world product delivery.
