Anjanette “Ani” SaguisagChief of Social Policy and Governance Programme, UNICEF Viet Nam

With more than 20 years of experience in social development and advocating for child rights, Anjanette Saguisag or "Ani" is Section Chief of the Social Policy and Governance Programme of UNICEF Viet Nam since September 2022.

Ani leads UNICEF’s efforts in public finance for children, reduction of multidimensional child poverty and strengthening the national social protection system for the betterment of children. She steers UNICEF’s engagement with the private sector to champion responsible business practices that prioritize the well-being of children and contribute to sustainable development. 

Prior to UNICEF, she practiced as a public interest lawyer with extensive experience in law and policy reforms for children and women’s rights.
