With the theme: “Together. To Success!”, Vietnam Motor Show 2013 (VMS 2013) attracts the participation of 15 automobile brands, including 8 VAMA members: Ford, GM, Hino, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Toyota and Vinastar together with Nissan and 7 official automobile imported brands such as Audi, BMW, Land Rover, Lexus, Renault, Nissan and Infiniti.

Vietnam Motor Show is one of the most prestigious and expected event of the year for the automobile industry. Apart from 15 automobile brands, a wide range of products and services in supporting industry, banking, and insurance will participate in this exhibition. By introducing the latest car models and automobile technologies, VMS is not only to offer Vietnamese consumers with various choices, but also is a bridge to strengthen the relationship between enterprises and customers; as well as to further promote the development of the automobile industry of Vietnam. The organizers are expecting to attract 200,000 visitors, compared to the number of 120,000 turns in 2012.

The exhibition is focused on products which are convenient, economical, eco-friendly and user-friendly, and also is a chance for auto brands to offer a series of services and sales promotions to promote the Vietnamese automobile industry. The 8,880 m2 area will be the perfect venue for many impressive booths and interesting interactive activities with the appearance of many famous people, models and celebrities… Visit VMS 2013, customers will also have chance to get more information about the supporting industries, auto toys & accessories of well-known brands such as Michelin, Motul, Valvoline, NHC, JVC, LifePro, Robert Bosch, Hella, and Pinaco … and booths of banking and automobile insurance.

Vietnam Motor Show 2013 is not only a place for consumers to see the latest models and technologies, but also VMS 2013 creates chance for policy makers, manufacturers, official automobile importers, expertsand customers to discuss about interesting topics such as import, manufacturing, installation, tax policies and the development of supporting industry. Especially, the seminar this year will focus on countermeasure for recovering the auto market recovery and development plan of Vietnam automobile market; the current issues and proposals raised by VAMA and vehicle importers; policy forecasts for sustainable development of domestic automobile market in the forthcoming context when Vietnam becomes a member of ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA). The seminar will take place from 8:00 to 12:00 on 24 October, 2013 and expected to welcome many important representatives from Department of Export and Import, Department of Heavy Industry, Department of Environment, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Finance.

Mr. Jesus Metelo N. Arias Jr., the Chairman of the Vietnam Automotive Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), said: “Discussions among all stakeholders during the Ninth Viet Nam Motor Show – including government ministries and officials, and both auto manufacturers and importers – will help drive greater cooperation towards the development and eventual implementation of a new strategic automotive policy for Vietnam.”
