Le Forum d’Affaires France-Vietnam à l’occasion de la visite d’Etat du Président / French-Vietnamese Business Forum 2016 on the occasion of the visit to Vietnam of the French President Mr. François Hollande

Le 7 Septembre dernier a été l’opportunité pour les entreprises de la communauté Franco-Vietnamienne de se rencontrer lors d’une matinée de signatures, remise de prix et conférences.
Le Forum a été inauguré par M. Nicolas Du Pasquier, Président de la CCIFV; Mme Minh Phong Dang, Présidente du CEO Club de Ho Chi Minh Ville; M. Thanh Phong Nguyen, Président du Comité Populaire de Ho Chi Minh Ville et par Mme Martine Pinville, Secrétaire d’Etat chargée du commerce, de l’artisanat, de la consommation et de l’économie sociale et solidaire.
Deux accords de coopération entre entreprises françaises et vietnamiennes ont été signés à cette occasion. Ils sont l’illustration du dynamisme des relations économiques France Vietnam.
- SANOFI a signé les accords définitifs qui étendent et renforcent son partenariat avec Vinapharm noué en 1993. Ce nouveau partenariat stratégique concerne l’ensemble des médicaments fabriqués localement et commercialisés par Sanofi au Vietnam, ainsi que les produits exportés dans les pays de la zone Asie-Pacifique. Étape majeure avant la conclusion de la transaction prévue d’ici à la fin de l’année 2016, ce partenariat reste soumis à l’approbation des autorités gouvernementales.
- Neovia Vietnam, Groupe Grimaud et Le Boucher d’une part et l’Association de l’Elevage du Vietnam d’autre part ont ensuite signé un accord visant à la création d’une filière porcine durable dans le Mékong. Par la signature de cet accord, Neovia Vietnam, avec ses partenaires s’engagent, avec le soutien des autorités vietnamiennes, à appliquer une charte de qualité à leurs processus de production ainsi qu’auprès des éleveurs porcins adhérents à la filière « Le PORC du Mékong ». Face à la forte demande de sécurité sanitaire et de traçabilité des aliments, cet engagement collectif et responsable permet de développer une filière porcine maitrisée à tous les niveaux.
La Remise du Grand Prix VIE 2016 au Vietnam par Business France s’est aussi déroulée lors de ce Forum. Elle a été l'occasion de récompenser 4 jeunes français pour leur implication dans leur entreprise et leur intégration dans la société vietnamienne.Les quatre prix sont :
- Grand Prix V.I.E : Julie Le Bourvellec, Quality Production Leader chez Décathlon
- Prix de l’intégration : Etienne Carre, Chef de projet chez Aoki Seafood
- Prix de la performance : Julien Schwartzmann, Business Development Manager chez Amaris
- Prix spécial du jury : Thibault Clemenceau, Deputy Sales Manager chez Saint Gobain PAM
Ce Forum s’est finalement cloturé par trois tables rondes autour du thème "Ensemble pour une croissance durable du Vietnam" :
- La première concernait les perspectives pour l’économie vietnamienne et les relations économiques France-Vietnam tenue par:
- M. Nicolas Du Pasquier - Président de la CCIFV
- Mme Minh Phuong Dang - CEO of MP Logistics & Chairwoman of CEO Club Ho Chi Minh City
- M. Nicolas Audier - Associé Directeur Cabinet Audier&Partners
- M. Rémy Rioux - Directeur Général de l’Agence Française de Développement
- La seconde table ronde se focalisait sur la coopération France-Vietnam dans le domaine agricole exprimée par:
- M. Christophe Guillaume - Directeur Général Neovia Vietnam
- M. Xuan Duong Nguyen - Directeur Général du service de l’élevage du ministère de l’agriculture
- M. Samuel Maruta - Fondateur de Marou
- Enfin la dernière table ronde traitait de la coopération France-Vietnam dans le domaine de la santé présentée par:
- Mme Barbara Dinh - Directeur pays Pierre Fabre
- M. Mathieu Fitoussi - Directeur pays Servier
Les participants au Forum ont finalement pu se rencontrer et échanger autour d'un dejeuner servi par le Sofitel Saigon Plaza.

On the occasion of the visit to Vietnam of the French President, Mr. François Hollande, the CCIFV French Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, organized the French-Vietnamese business forum in the morning of the last September 7th at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel. It was the opportunity for French and Vietnamese companies to discuss about solutions and cooperation, and to conclude partnerships to promote a sustainable growth in Vietnam.
The forum opened on a welcoming speech given by Mr Nicolas Du Pasquier, CCIFV Chairman. His speech was followed by Ms Minh Phong Dang’s speech, Chairman of CEO Club of Ho Chi Minh City, by Mr Thanh Phong Nguyen’s speech, President of the Popular Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and by Mrs Martine Pinville’s address, Minister of State for Commerce, Small-Scale Industry, Consumer Affairs and the Social and Solidarity Economy.
Two trade agreements were signed between French and Vietnamese companies during the Business Forum. They are the vivid illustration of the active economic relations between both countries.
SANOFI signed the definitive agreements to extend and strengthen their partnership with Vinapharm, started in 1993. This new strategic partnership covers all the locally-manufactured medicines marketed by Sanofi in Vietnam and products exported to Asia Pacific countries. This step marks a major milestone before closing of the transaction which is expected by year-end 2016 and remains subject to approval by governmental authorities.
Neovia Vietnam and their partners Grimaud Group and Le Boucher on one hand and the Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam on the other hand, signed a partnership for the birth of a pig production sector. They all commit, with the support of the Vietnamese authorities, to implement a charter of quality on their production process and toward pig breeders’ members of «Le PORC du Mékong» production scheme. In front of the strong demand for food safety and traceability, this collective and responsible commitment enables to develop a pig production sector controlled at all levels.
Finally, the V.I.E. International Volunteers Program 2016 Award in Vietnam (Grand Prix V.I.E.), led by Business France, was the opportunity to reward four young French people currently working in a V.I.E. position in Vietnam for their contribution to their company success as well as their successful integration in the Vietnamese society.

Three conferences succeeded and closed the Business Forum, run by several representatives of both French and Vietnamese parts, around a single theme: "All together for a sustainable growth in Vietnam’’. They provided a unique opportunity for insights and knowledge exchange on economic relations between France and Vietnam, with a particular highlight on Agro-food and health sectors. The three topics covered were as follow:

All participants of the forum have finally met each other and exchanged around a lunch served by the Sofitel Saigon Plaza.
