Bachy Soletanche Vietnam completes work on Hilton Saigon Hotel

In August 2017, Bachy Soletanche Vietnam successfully completed the diaphragm walls and mass piles package of work as part of the construction of the Hilton Saigon Hotel, the new luxury establishment of the American chain in the heart of District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City. This mobilised the teams of the local subsidiary for 155 days.

As part of this project, Bachy Soletanche Vietnam executed 186 linear metres of diaphragm wall 1.0m thick with 42.5m max. deep, 31 plain and shaft grouted barrettes 80.5m max. deep, 15 bored piles 1.2m dia. with 68.5m max. deep, 41 kingposts, plus 54 method bored piles 0.8m dia.

The new hotel will be right in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City. The fourth hotel operated in the country by the Hilton Worldwide Group, it will join the US chain’s Vietnamese portfolio, including the Hilton Hanoi Opera and the Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi. It will be jointly run by management from Hilton and the Saigon Cuu Long Corporation, which invested more than 100 million dollars into the development

The five-star hotel will have 38 floors, five basement levels, 350 rooms, nearly 1,500m2 of meeting space, a ballroom covering more than 800m2 along with a host of leisure and entertainment facilities including a casino, a spa, sports room and outdoor pool. The complex is scheduled to open in Q4 of 2019.
