CSR Committee : How to combine the quality of work life and productivity for both employees and the company?

The last CSR Workshop at CCIFV took place last Wednesday, January 18th and was about “Well-being at work and the psychological inputs”. The meeting was hold by two psychologists Adélaïde BRESSAC and Marion VISTOLI from the EPP (Ecole des Psychologues Praticiens), renown psychology French school.

The main purpose of the workshop was to invite managers to learn more about the input of the psychology served at work, the numerous kinds of psychosocial risks and the best conditions to reduce it. The attendees expressed a high interest in the psychological analysis of “work”. Today managers are eager to create healthier, happier and more productive workplaces. Indeed, reducing the stress of employees could increase the sales of a company by 37%. According to the psychologist MJ. Tonelli « A happy worker is :

twice less sick,

6 times less absent,

9 times more loyal,

31% more productive,

55% more creative,

and workers report being 5% more involved if they feel having responsibilities ».

Human Capital is the company’s greatest asset so it is becoming a priority for managers to ensure the well-being of the employees. Next session will be focusing on practical case studies and how to implement efficient management tools in order to decrease stress, develop employees loyalty, increase and enhance productivity, and improve motivation.
