CCIFV and VCCI met on 1st July in Hanoi

CCIFV Hanoi’s representatives, Vice-Chairman Philippe Perruchot, Vice-Chairman Daniel Rossi, Head of Hanoi Office Sophie Mermaz and Business Support and Development Officer Minh Phuong Le met The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

VCCI was represented by Mr Nguyen Tuan Hai, General Director of the International Relations Department and Ms Le Thi Minh Chau, also from the International Relations Department. 

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss CCIFV and VCCI’s cooperation and how to enhance joint activities for the benefit of both French and Vietnamese business. Specifically, the discussion focused on the potential of bilateral trade between Vietnam and France, taking advantage of the EVFTA.

Besides Mr Nguyen Tuan Hai assured that he was committed to work closely with the French Chamber of Commerce on organizing more business matchmaking and B2B-focused events, where members from both sides could participate. 

After a presentation of the activities of the French Chamber, Mr Philippe Perruchot mentioned that CCIFV was actively developing sector committees and would be delighted to invite key VCCI members to take part to forthcoming B2B events.

Both sides agreed that they should meet and further exchange insights on a more regular basis. CCIFV will continue to develop the relationship with this highly appreciated partner, in order to create a stronger French-Vietnamese business community.
