FRANCE 24 marks Vietnam launch with special programming

FRANCE 24’s English-language channel is broadcasting a series of reports on Vietnam and the Vietnamese diaspora to mark its expanded presence in the South-East Asian country.

 

The Paris-based international news channel broadcasts 24/7 to 180 countries around the world in French, Arabic and English. Last year it added a fourth language with the launch of its Spanish channel, based in Bogota, Colombia.

As of Thursday, FRANCE 24’s English version is available to more than three million households that subscribe to Vietnam’s pay-TV operators. The channel is marking the event with a series of reports on the fast-growing South-East Asian country and its historic ties to France.
