Job Description: 

Responsible for the whole Operations activities of the Branch including Trade Finance Support Services Department; FX/MM Settlement, Remittances & Cash Department; Banking Support Services Departments

Support Management in the development and implementation of internal business processes for different services/products with the goal of providing excellent customer services:

  • Build up a professional team of operations to support business goals. 
  • Manage the overall performance of banking operations activities to support the business/product groups to achieve their business goals.
  • Design/develop/review operational processes for different products/services. 
  • Manage project development pipeline and ensure appropriate resource capacity 
  • Provide targeted training for new product support when appropriate
  • Manage and enhance product development and training processes and tools 
  • Address and resolve operations process issues and report any operational risks. 
  • Review and analyze performance statistics 
  • Establish reporting in period/ad hoc 
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer services

Provide leadership resource for the Operations unit:

  • Identify critical talent succession gaps in the function and develop appropriate plan to ensure business continuity (rotation plan) 
  • Train and develop team members capabilities in the function to ensure a high level of resource in meeting the performance standard and the bank objectives

Job Requirements:

  • Good level in English  
  • University graduated major in banking and finance or economics 
  • Familiar with Microsoft office (word; excel; power point) 
  • At least 10-year experience in banking industry
  • Organization, management and problem solving skills 
  • Responsible, team-work spirit 
  • Interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Able to study and deploy new operational tools. 
  • Be the effective connector among others Departments of the Branch
  • Understanding SBV’s regulations about foreign currency control.
