The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, CCIFV, was created in 1989 upon the initiative of some businessmen in Ho Chi Minh City.

Non-lucrative local association, the CCIFV is part of the worldwide network of French Chambers of Commerce Abroad (UCCIFE), which gathers together 114 Chambers over 78 countries.

Today, the CCIFV has over 240 members; most of them being subsidiaries of French companies or companies created by French people.
