France is at the center of one of the biggest food-processing market, Europe and its 340 millions of consumers; Vietnam is at the center of ASEAN and its 600 millions of consumers and above all at the doors of China, Japan and Taiwan.

Vietnam, with its amazing human and agricultural resources, still lacks of know how in numerous fields from the preservation techniques to treat harvests to the distribution of complex products through best practices for cattle rearing, improvement of hygiene and these new products marketing.

All industries are concernd: meat, cereals, fruits and vegetables, and aqua products.

Facing this situation, the CCIFV agribusiness committee tries to develop this surprising parallel between the popwerful French agribusiness and the young Veitnamese one. The objective is to underline the opportunities given to French companies to deploy themselves in Vietnam as a new step of their development.

These different actions will enbale us to develop our transofrmation activities, to go and conquer the ASEAN markets with the help of Vietnamese partners.

Under the initiative of the agribusiness committee, CCIFV has created the website  www.agrovietnam.com, modern and useful tool designed to build a bound between the French and Vietnamese agricultural businesses.
