Job Title: Meat Category Manager

Job Description:
This person’s key responsibilities will be to:
- Turn this category business into a profit contributor for the company
- Strengthen meat customers relationship and business (wholesalers, retailers, Horeca)
- Develop the range in a profitable way and source new products. Handle relationship and purchase with international meat suppliers.
- Launch and supervise portion controlled meat activity (new transformation and packing activity).
- Train and coach up to 10 persons (1 to 4 sales persons as well as the 2 - 6 staff in charge of portion controlled production).
Profile:
The candidate will be a local Vietnamese either male or female:
- Having 12 years of experience (+/-2 years) in the meat trading/retail sector or the meat industry:2-4 years experience in the meat industry or selling meat; 2-4 years experience working for a meat wholesalers or traders; 2-4 years experience as a meat buyer or group buyer for a retailer (decision maker).
- Having a perfect knowledge of meat category and a deep understanding of Vietnamese meat consumption and meat market dynamics.
- Having a good understanding of both international and local trade practice, and food safety regulations.
- Being fluent in English both oral and written.
-Having strong negotiation, selling, and management skills. Great autonomy.
-Having a willingness to evolve into a smaller structure, thus having a greater autonomy and potential for impact.
